"Where Cyberpsychology Meets Everyday Digital Life"
The digital world wasn't built for human wellbeing. Psyberanima was. We build research-backed tools and cyberpsychology-informed education to help people take back their attention, boundaries, and focus — at home and at work.
The Visionary Architect
Chill is the founder of Psyberanima. His work began where most people don't look: on 12-hour night shifts, watching the physical world guarded around the clock while the digital one - the one shaping our attention, sleep, and relationships - was left entirely undefended. Years of that vantage point taught him what always-on life actually costs. Psyberanima is his answer: a UK digital wellbeing tech company building research-backed tools and cyberpsychology-informed education for people navigating digital life at home and at work.

Hi, I'm Momchil Petkov, but everyone calls me Chill — founder of Psyberanima.
My journey to this platform wasn't paved with a conventional corporate trajectory. It was forged through years of twelve-hour night shifts in Manchester — first during my university years, when I'd finish a shift and take ninety-minute rests in my car before heading in for a full day of lectures in Psychology and Criminology, and then in the years since. Night shifts are still part of my life today: I build Psyberanima in the hours around them.
I have spent a significant portion of my life standing watch while others sleep. Through my work in security and my study of human behaviour, I realised something that most people never get to see up close: while our physical world is heavily guarded, our digital lives are often left defenceless. We have migrated our identities, our children's social lives, and our professional careers online — yet the support available to us for navigating that shift has remained stuck in a pre-digital era.
Behind the screens, many are fighting silent battles with burnout, gaming fatigue, online harassment, and the quiet erosion of attention and boundaries. I recognised a void where specialised support ought to be. Psyberanima was born from a philosophy of "Cyber-Resilience" — applying psychology and criminological insight to the digital landscape, focusing on the pressures of social media and the "Always-On" phenomenon that traditional approaches frequently overlook.
I am a builder and a protector. I have spent years scrutinising the darker aspects of human nature to understand how to construct more robust defences for the light. Psyberanima is about more than a single product: we are building something bigger than ourselves — research-backed tools and cyberpsychology-informed education to help ensure that technology serves human wellbeing rather than exploiting it.
